I’m Ted, thank you for visiting.

Growing up in Appalachia I never envisioned that I’d live in Northern Virginia, the suburbs of DC, but here I am, going on 25 years now.  I’m an avid outdoorsman turned natural light photographer in January of 2023. 

Fortunately for me, the area is teeming with wildlife!  A nature lover and wildlife photographer’s dream!

Combining photography with another favorite hobby, kayaking, has opened up a whole new world.  Especially cold weather kayaking.  I often have the Potomac River to myself it seems.
